Thank you so much! That really helps. No instructions I could find seemed to clarify that for me. My heroAnytime!! I’ve only been cross-stitching myself for about 6 months but I do have a background in knitting and crocheting so that probably helps :]

Thank you for responding! That does help. REALLY stupid question here, I am way new to this... When it says 2 threads for a cross stitch, is it two threads total, or two per direction?It’s two threads on your needle. So you will go from left to right doing your diagonals and then work back [using the same thread] from right to left. Technically there will be 4 threads over each “square” but you only carry 2 threads on your needle. I looked for some graphical instructions for you [in case you need them] and this website seemed to explain it the best http://www.vsccs.com/Hints-Info/basic_cross_stitch_instructions.htm
